Adam Jędrysik is a Polish guitarist, bassist, composer, producer and mixing engineer. His music has taken shape in very different settings — solo recordings, improvised groups, jazz ensembles, film and video games. What connects them is less a particular genre than a curiosity about sound and a preference for music that leaves some room for things to happen unexpectedly.
His solo album No Soloing, Please was nominated for the 2025 Fryderyk Award for Jazz Debut of the Year. Alongside his solo practice, he co-creates DEUX LYNX with Miłosz Berdzik and an ongoing duo with Fabian Klimanek, while also performing with Maciej Obara’s Bluish Landscapes and touring as a bassist with Paktofonika. The distance between these settings is considerable, but moving between them has become a natural part of his musical life.
That openness also carries beyond records and the stage. For Adam Sikora’s Emiter, Jędrysik shaped the film’s entire sonic layer as a continuous piece, with music and sound design allowed to merge into a single language. The same sensibility extends into his music for Rebel Wolves’ RPG The Blood of Dawnwalker, where it becomes part of a much larger narrative world. Different formats call for different decisions, but the impulse behind them remains remarkably consistent: an interest in sound itself.
